One week from today we will be making a record in the mountains. We will keep you posted on the recording with daily video blogs from the band members. We’re extremely excited and can’t wait to share the music with you guys when we’re done with it. The Darkhorse rides in 6 days…..

Well, I guess it’s time to officially announce that we’re doing a record in October. We’ll be recording in Asheville, North Carolina October 18th – 27th. We’ll be at Echo Mountain Recording with producer/engineer Danny Kadar (Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket, Avett Brothers). He’s bad to the bone.

The Darkhorse camp is super excited and we’ve been really pushing ourselves in the writing arena, demo-ing lots of new material, which you can download for free here…we put up 4 more demos today (“White Devil, Red Dress”, “Grace”, “Say Now” and an acoustic version of “White Devil, Red Dress”). Download them!

If you would like to help with the recording at all, you can pay what you want for any downloads from our aforementioned Bandcamp Site and donate however much you’d like to the payment of the album. Thanks!
